Julie is the founder and owner of Softwind Property Management and Softwind Realty, where she brings more than 25 years of experience to the North Carolina real estate market. After growing up in Roxboro, NC, she attended NC State University to earn her Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering. Following graduation, she moved to Charlotte and spent 15 years in Information Technology at Duke Energy. She has been a resident of the Charlotte area for more than 35 years and enjoys assisting clients with all their real estate needs.

As part of the professional real estate community, Julie currently serves as the Secretary of the Charlotte Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM). She is also an active member of the National Association of Realtors, North Carolina Association of Realtors, and Central Carolina Associations of Realtors. She holds the Graduate REALTOR® Institute (GRI) designation, and is a Pricing Strategy Advisor (PSA), Accredited Buyer’s Representative (ABR), Seller Representative Specialist (SRS), and Military Relocation Professional (MRP).

When she is not assisting buyers, sellers, investment property owners and tenants, Julie treasures time spent with her husband, their children, and their grandchildren. She is also deeply involved in her church, where she finds great fulfillment in leading Ladies’ Bible Studies. Her home wouldn’t be complete without their giant Rhodesian Ridgeback, who—despite his impressive size—is firmly convinced he is a lap dog.
